Ramada by Wyndham Tulsa

Both staff members I dealt with were kind and easy to talk to, but the room was in terrible shape. The carpet was dirty, stains were everywhere, the TV didn't work, and there was a hole in the shower. The hotel had a mix of awful smells, from dirty diapers and cigarettes to mildew, including in my room. There was little effort put into the decor or making the place feel nice. On my drive between NH and San Diego and back to the East Coast, this was the worst and most expensive place I stayed. I don't think it deserves to be sold as a 3 star hotel. It felt very low end for the price, and it made for a rough night. I wouldn't recommend it unless you absolutely have to. I also wondered about the high ratings. I looked at some reviewer profiles, and many were private, so it didn't add up to me.

The staff were friendly and very good, but the pool and hot tub weren't what I'd hoped for on my second visit. I called ahead about them and was told they were available and working. The pool was okay but worn, while the hot tub was cold and looked rough, with paint needed. Breakfast had fewer choices and wasn't as good as I remembered. I thought about calling to complain, but it was a busy time and I didn't have the energy. The neighborhood felt sketchy, so lock your car and keep an eye on what's around you. I'd stayed here once before, around 2 to 3 years ago, and that trip went pretty well. The room was a little dated, and the bathroom door looked like it had just been kicked in, so I went straight to the desk to show them. Still, breakfast was great and the pool and hot tub were excellent. I was looking forward to my 3 day stay this time, but ended up disappointed.

The room was good, and the staff were great. Breakfast was fine, too. There was a lot of foot traffic near the hotel, but nothing too concerning, and people left us alone when we left them alone. I did catch an occasional smell of pot in the hallway. Still, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

The room was clean, large, and fine, and the price was reasonable. The pool and hot tub were disgusting, as was breakfast. The area felt sketchy, with a lot going on. I was there with my two daughters for a sporting event, and the front desk clerk's comments put me on high alert about our safety. She was very unprofessional, and she was wearing filthy hospital socks.
