Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Tampa Airport North, FL

We left after only about an hour, despite having planned to stay two nights. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the bathroom didn’t seem thoroughly cleaned, and the toilet paper holder was pulling out of the wall. The refrigerator cabinet door was broken and hanging open, nearly causing us to trip. We reported that problem to the front desk, waited over an hour without it being resolved, and decided to check out. I spoke with a staff member I believe was named Ben and asked for a full reimbursement. He said he had contacted his manager and that we would get the full amount back, probably after a few days of processing. The refund never came through, though, and I’ve been charged the full amount. I’ve tried to resolve it without success, so we paid nearly $400 for an hour there. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with hot and fresh choices, plenty of variety, and coffee worth getting up for. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the front desk team had everything ready. They offered local tips without overwhelming us, which gave us a great first impression. Our room felt spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The bed was plush, the linens were soft, and the layout, lighting, and desk space made it easy to settle in. After busy days, it was nice to come back to a calm room. The hotel is only minutes from Tampa International Airport and well placed for exploring the area. From the moment we pulled into the driveway at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Tampa Airport North, the relaxed, welcoming feel put us at ease. Everyone we met was friendly, genuine, and ready to help, and we felt cared for throughout our stay. It’s a comfortable choice near the airport, whether you’re traveling with family or just looking for some ease on the road. Five stars from us.

We stayed two nights on each side of a cruise, and the staff were great. Lily at the desk helped us find the best value room. Breakfast was very good, with eggs, sausage, hash browns, and waffles. They use a contracted shuttle service between the hotel, airport, and cruise terminal.

The lobby has cookies in the afternoon, and breakfast is complimentary and very good. Depending on the day, you might find scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles, toast, pastries, coffee, or tea. For a night before a cruise, I’d recommend staying here. A suite has a bedroom plus a small den with a sofa, desk, office style chair, and another chair. There’s a TV in both the den and bedroom.
