Express Inn

The Express Inn had a surprisingly high rating for its price, and I think it was deserved. I was just driving through and needed somewhere to sleep. My room was small and the bathroom had almost no counter space, which could be annoying for a longer stay, but there was a mini fridge and microwave. It was well cleaned, and both the floor and bathroom were quite clean. The sheets were freshly laundered, though they had a few small stains that clearly wouldn’t come out. I didn’t see any sign of insects. The place is worn, with plenty of nicks and scratches on the walls and furniture, and it smelled of cheap air freshener, but nothing else. It’s not a high-class resort, so don’t expect a lot of amenities. If those things bother you, stay elsewhere. For this price, though, that’s about what you can expect. You’d need to pay at least $30 more for a better place. I’ve seen much better hotels fail at some of these basic cleanliness standards.

The staff were kind and professional, and the location was great. It’s a tucked-away motel, and my small, cozy room was clean and had everything I needed. I had a good stay and will come back when I’m in the area. Thanks, guys.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the staff were really nice. My room was small, clean, and had a comfortable bed. This isn’t the Sheraton, so don’t expect that. But it’s a good fit if a clean room and nice bed are what you’re after.

The bed was comfortable, and the windows were new and nice. They can be opened to let in some fresh air. The rooms are clean and well run, with a TV, microwave, fridge, and AC. Nothing fancy, and just keep in mind it isn’t a Hilton.
