The location was the only thing I liked about this Hampton Inn. When my daughter and I got to our room, the washroom door handle was broken and swinging, and the shower pressure was so weak it felt like being sprayed by a sprinkler. It seemed clear the room hadn’t been checked or cleaned before we arrived. Worse, on our last night, the hotel gave another guest access to our room key, and that person came in at 10:45 p.m. while my daughter and I were asleep. The hotel refunded half our stay, but they should have done more. It was a safety hazard. If we hadn’t been there, those guests could have walked in with all our belongings and I might never have known. I was shaken for the rest of the night, and I’m still angry. What if my 17-year-old had been alone in the room for a moment? Please be careful if you stay here. Keep the latch on and put an occupied sign outside your door.

The lobby and breakfast space are shared with Home2Suites, and the breakfast area was huge, clean, and had a great selection with lots of seating. There’s a parking garage about a block away, an easy walk unless it’s raining or snowing. Whole Foods is across the street, with dining options nearby too. The staff were wonderful, really friendly, and checked in with me a couple of times to make sure I had what I needed. What a fabulous place!

The breakfast was really good, too, and I appreciated having it. The hotel is just over a mile from GBMC, and it was clean and comfortable, with excellent guest service. I was under a lot of stress because my husband was in the hospital for major surgery, and I had a very unusual situation and some requests. Angel, Mariah, Jiniayah, AJ and Nat were all accommodating, pleasant, and understanding. I’m grateful I had such a wonderful team when I needed help. Thanks again. I’d recommend this hotel 100%!

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room, hallways, and shared spaces were. I didn’t hear hotel noise from my room, though on the sixth floor I could hear traffic, which is to be expected. The staff were kind, outgoing, and helpful. My only complaint was breakfast, which just wasn’t very flavorful.

We’ve stayed here a few times now, and every visit has gone really well. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the shower is amazing. Everyone on staff is warm, courteous, friendly, and helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again.
