We keep coming back to this simple hotel, especially before an early flight. I haven’t tried breakfast since we leave so early, but there’s always hot coffee when we head out for a 7 a.m. flight. It’s helpful to have a sink and mirror outside the bathroom so more than one person can get ready. Arrival is welcoming, parking is easy, and the location works well. We’ll be back again and again.

The view was amazing, even in the cold. The resort stay turned out to be a nice consolation since we couldn’t make it to Great Wolfe lodge, which was why we came to Traverse City. The place was very clean when we arrived, and Star at the front desk was amazing, super friendly, and helpful.

The breakfast was just right, and the on-site bar served the best meal we’ve ever had in a bar. Our room was immaculate, modern, and had a gorgeous bay view. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and the people there.

Our server Chris in the lounge was outstanding, and the food was excellent. We came to Traverse City for a quick overnight, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The snow covered view was still grand. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which weren’t too crowded with kids. We’ll definitely visit again.

We went to Parkshore's Lounge with our neighbors for the 2026 Traverse City Restaurant Week prix fixe menu and were seriously blown away by the freshness, flavors, and portions. The chef, kitchen staff, and our server all deserve credit for a wonderful dinner. We’ve eaten here before and already knew the burgers were great, but this meal was a real wow.
