We needed a dog-friendly room at the last minute, late on a Saturday night. Our options were a $250-$400 room or this $188 Travelodge room, so we took a chance and held our breath. We usually stay at Residence Inns or Candlewood Suites, but those brands aren't in TC. To our surprise, it was quite decent. Everything was clean, the bedding fresh, the beds very comfortable, and the towels soft. It was clear they take care of the rooms. The fridge and microwave both worked perfectly, and we used them a lot. The cabinet holding them was beat up and has seen better days, but it just holds things, so it wasn't a deal breaker. I took a video at the end of our visit to show the room. I slept well and was pleasantly surprised, even though it's not a four-star place. In a pinch, I'd stay again. I wish my sheets at home were this soft!

The woman who checked me in was wonderful, patient, kind, and understanding. The room was another story. It smelled like human urine, had flies and tiny flies, and the curtains wouldn't close all the way. We had to jiggle the door just right to get it to lock, and there was mold along the bottom of the curtains. It wasn't a pleasant stay, and I won't be back.

I stayed one night for work. The location was convenient, and the front desk staff were very kind and pleasant to talk to. The room and bathroom were both very clean, though the bathroom was a little small. I could hear road traffic all night.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The shower had good pressure and hot water. But the website pictures were misleading. I don't know where that pictured room is, but it wasn't ours. The hotel is old and needs refreshing, and the furniture was beat up. We paid $174 through Travelocity for a Sunday night. With no free breakfast, this is a $110-a-night hotel at best.

A pretty good motel with no major complaints, just a couple of things to know. The TVs aren't smart TVs, so bring a Fire Stick if you have one. The bathrooms are small, with only the tub and toilet inside; the sink and mirror are just outside. That didn't really bother me, but I figured I'd mention it.
