Silver Sands

We had a rainy weekend and couldn't use the pool, though it looked to be in good shape. The rooms were nice, with cute, comfy decor, and getting in was easy with the key in a lockbox beside the door. The grounds were well kept, with nice landscaping and several outdoor spots to spend time with family and friends. The location was great, just a short 3-5 minute walk to the beach in one direction and the bay in the other. We'd definitely come back!

This was our second stay, and it won't be the last. The cute little places look just like the pictures. We had connected upstairs rooms 7&8. The staff were always friendly, and the beach is a short 3-4 minute walk across the street, with a county ramp just steps away. The pool was way too hot, if the heater was on. It wasn't refreshing after a day at the beach, and that's a must for us. Hopefully next time it won't feel like warm bath water.

It was a last-minute choice, and we're so glad we stayed. The little kitchen was stocked, and the place felt like a small beach apartment. It seemed freshly painted, and the kitchen had new appliances and cabinets. Super cute and CLEAN. Check-in was easy with a lockbox. The pool, outdoor seating, and grills were great, and management was incredible about helping us extend our stay by two more nights. WAY BETTER THAN A HOTEL.

Silver Sands is quiet, well managed, and good value. Our unit was nicely updated and very clean. The location is good, and the walk to the beach is about as short as you can get on this side of Gulf Blvd. It's also an easy walk to the restaurants at John's Pass. You can use the nice, warm pool over at the Bungalows, just a few steps away.
