Sunset Beach House by Vtrips

The rooms were beautifully decorated, the beds were very comfortable, and it was quiet at night, so I slept well. For my work trip last week, the inn and cottages, staff, and location were all great. It’s close to everything and just steps from the beach, with super clean rooms and every amenity I could ask for. Some bagged ice or an ice machine to buy from would be handy. The retro Florida feel is hard to find elsewhere, and I’ll book again for a personal trip soon.

The affordable fun in the sun package included a sturdy umbrella, chairs, and towels. Our room was clean and adorable, decorated in a 60s retro style. It’s a small roadside motel right across Gulf Boulevard from the beach, with a short, easy walk and simple beach access. We had a perfect long weekend and will definitely return.

Our room was just the right size for two, and the outdoor area with its hammock and lights was so cute. The beach is only a blink away, with beautiful views and sunsets. We saw dolphins and manatee swimming by every day. Sandra and the rest of the staff were welcoming, and it was a pleasure meeting everyone. My only regret is not staying longer. Thanks for the hospitality, we can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in The Captain for two nights, and leaving was hard. It was cute, spotless, and comfortable, with everything working perfectly and a really quiet atmosphere. The Jetsons-like theme and 70s vibe felt nostalgic but still modern. We were there with our children, ages 4 and 7, and all of us loved it. The beach was amazingly close. We can’t wait to stay again, thanks for everything!
