Westwinds 213

I'm having a great week at Westwinds resort in the Treasure Island area. It's very comfortable, and having the beach across the street is key. I love the sunsets here. It's convenient to have a kitchen for cooking, with great restaurants nearby, plus Publix just a 4 minute walk away and other shops in the area.

We've stayed here several times and it's always been great. We usually book a two-bedroom and have been lucky enough to get 201 more than once. Even in the sweltering heat of June and July, the AC has held whatever temperature we set. We've never run out of hot water, even with 5 people showering. The kitchen has always had what we needed, including pots, pans, dishes, and a coffee maker. General supplies like dish soap, paper towels, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, and a hair dryer have been there too. I'm not sure how much comes from the resort versus previous guests, since we leave our extras as well, but we've never run out of anything we needed. There's plenty of bath and beach towels, more pillows than you'd need, and an extra sheet set and blanket for the sofa bed in the master closet. As a mom of three, I appreciate having a good broom and mop in the unit. There are cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink, though I think most were bought by renters, and we usually add something to the stash. There's a Target and Dollar Tree about 12 minutes away if you don't want to pay Publix prices for anything that's missing. The unit also has a couple of beach chairs and pool noodles. The mattresses and pillows are comfortable. In 201, the living room TV is a smart TV, the master bedroom has a Roku, and we bring a portable Roku for the kids' room. It's just steps from the beach using a marked crosswalk with flashing lights that stop traffic, which is great with kids. If swimming in the gulf isn't your thing, there's a nice pool with loungers, and a shower by the gate to rinse off sand. Each unit has a designated parking spot, so there's no need to worry about parking when you head out and come back during busy season. The doors now use key codes, so you don't have to take a physical key to the beach. Westwinds will keep being our first choice year after year. We love staying here, and the kids always ask if this is where I booked. Management is kind and quick to respond to questions or needs. We couldn't ask for better. By the time we leave, we're already looking forward to the next stay.

Our room was cozy, very clean, and packed with amenities. Being across the street from the beach and near Publix made the stay relaxing, and parking was never a worry. The elevators weren't working, but taking the stairs was no trouble for us. We'd definitely consider coming back for another weekend.

The location was spectacular, right across the street from the beach, with lovely marina views at the back of the property if you'd rather skip the beach. Publix is close enough to walk to, so I could just pop over when I needed something. The condo itself was really nice and clean, with a comfortable bed, full pillows, and tasteful decor. The kitchen was well stocked with the cookware and utensils we needed. Thanks for everything. I'd definitely stay here again!
