The pool and hot tub were nice, and breakfast was solid. The service was fine too. What really stood out was how much noise carried through the rooms. The doors slam constantly, and with thin walls and echoing rooms, you could hear just about everything. The curtains also let in a lot of light, which may partly be down to the odd room orientation. A few small fixes would make a real difference.

The Tesla charger is badly outdated. It’s an older Supercharger generation, and there’s nothing very super about it now. Hopefully the owner can work with Tesla to upgrade it. The hotel itself is great, and I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn on our wedding night, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, though the fruit selection seemed a bit lacking. My wife still talks about the scones! The room was what we expected, but the lights flickered and sometimes had trouble turning on for no clear reason. I’d still recommend staying here when traveling, though the staff can’t make up for those room issues.

We used to pass through here several times a year, and this Hampton was always our usual stop. We came back after a few years and were glad it was still what we remembered: clean rooms and linens, comfortable beds, helpful employees, and a good breakfast. We’ll be back!

The best part of a double queen room is getting eight pillows. Everything in the room was very nice, and I’m looking forward to staying here again. It’s a nice hotel just north of SLC, the first city south of nowhere where I work a lot.
