The front desk clerk was the one good part of my stay. She was warm and helpful, but when she mentioned I had 15 minutes to get a refund or switch rooms, I should've taken that warning seriously. I was wiped out from the trip and just went to sleep. The building looked worn, which I could've lived with, but the room was dirty and needed a lot of care. The smell was impossible to ignore, like strong urine soaked into the carpet. I've been in outhouses that smelled better. I should've walked back out and asked for my money back. I paid $84, and even $20 would've felt like too much. Take this as a warning.

There was free breakfast, but not much to choose from. The room itself felt dirty and run down, and the hallways and room both smelled of cigarettes and body odor. When I first entered the bathroom, there was pee all over the toilet seat, so I went to the front desk and asked someone to clean it. Just gross. There were some sketchy people around and the place seemed unsafe. I know it's a Super 8, but still.

After a long trip, my husband and I arrived late and exhausted. Tiffany got us checked in quickly and was so friendly. She made sure we had a first-floor room because of my husband's leg injury. The room was simple and clean. In the morning there was good hot coffee, and Tiffany chatted with us again and made coffee for us on the hotel machine. It was a very quiet stay.

The family of cats living around the motel was a nice surprise, and Pete on the graveyard shift was especially helpful and friendly. The rooms were okay, though a bit dirty and somewhat smelly. It's a Super 8, so keep expectations in check.

The woman who checked us in at the front desk was great, but we didn't stay. Our room wasn't clean, had an odor, and there was a cockroach on the floor. We left right away and wouldn't recommend staying here.
