The river view was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the location was excellent for walking around. Still, for the price and a 3 star hotel, this was a letdown. When we checked in, there was no soap and only half a roll of toilet paper. I've never stayed somewhere without two bars of soap or a shower body wash dispenser. The shower floor was slippery, the bathroom counter had too little space for a 2 queen bed room, and there wasn't a table by the window where my daughter and I wanted to sit and enjoy the view. There was an office chair as well as the only sitting chair, but no place for a drink or phone. When I moved a chair, I found a dirty sock. I asked the front desk for maid service, but they didn't add soap or toilet paper. The clerk at check-in also seemed like he didn't want to be there. This was my first stay with Radisson, and likely my last. I enjoy traveling and usually choose nice 3 star or better hotels. I've stayed at many Drury Hotels, Embassy Suites, and Marriott properties, and Radisson doesn't compare with them. Drurys and Embassy Suites are my favorites.

The staff were really kind, and the bedding and bathrooms were clean. Still, the room gets three stars from me because the renovation felt unfinished. They redid the bedrooms but left the old, gross entryway ceiling tiles, and the hallway carpet could use replacing. The mattresses could be replaced too. The pool area needs more tables and chairs, especially when lots of kids and families are staying. DIRECTV was out for most of the evening, which was a bummer when we were trying to wind down. It was working in the morning, but we were leaving and didn't really care by then.

The city skyline was lovely to see, and the hotel is in a nice spot with dozens of good restaurants an easy walk away. Our updated room was very clean, with a modern shower and good water pressure. We had a great view from our side, and apparently the views are good from either side. At checkout, though, the woman said she couldn't print an invoice because ours was a reward night. I've never had that happen before. Since the hotel had swiped my card, I wanted to make sure I wasn't being charged before leaving. We didn't try the in-house restaurant, which offers breakfast for a fee. Driving around, watch the one-way and do-not-enter signs. The roads are narrow and the bike lane is very wide.

I booked three rooms through Travelocity for a business trip. Our dates shifted a little, and I only wanted to change them, not get a refund. Before we even checked in, the hotel told me to contact Travelocity because they couldn't do anything. Travelocity then said they had to ask the hotel whether it would approve the change. The hotel told them it couldn't modify the reservation because the rooms were nonrefundable. Why send me back and forth? Travelocity went out of its way to help, but the hotel manager told both of us no. That felt like poor service for business customers. The Grandstay up the street was more accommodating, Travelocity got us a partial refund, and we stayed elsewhere. If you book here, be sure your plans won't need to change. EDIT: The Radisson's reply was blatantly untrue. Travelocity contacted the hotel, and the hotel itself refused to modify the reservation. This wasn't about Travelocity's policies. Radisson had a chance to make it right and didn't. I'm changing this to 1 star because they outright lied in their reply.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean, though dated. The bathroom looked especially old and needs an upgrade. The restaurant closed at 11. Staff were friendly, but not very attentive, and seemed more focused on the television than the guests.
