Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wheeling at Highlands

We weren't sure what to expect because the price was so much lower than other hotels nearby, but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms and service were great, and breakfast was excellent. The eating area was clean and comfortable. Businesses and restaurants are within walking distance, and we'll definitely stay again.

Our family feels safe and comfortable here, and the rooms are clean. The staff are professional and friendly. The food could be a little better, though it was still very good overall. Great place to stay.

The breakfast area feels a bit small for the number of rooms, which is the one downside. Still, the rooms are clean and there are good breakfast options. I'll keep staying here while the current management is in charge.

We came to this convenient spot because we were headed to Wheeling Island and wanted to eat at Texas Roadhouse. The driveways connect, and the hotel is about 10 minutes from Wheeling Island in The Highlands Area. Our room was fairly clean, but there were some Pube hairs in the bathroom, and the light from things in the room was enough that I covered up with pillows and put a towel over the clock alarm charging station. We had plenty of towels. Some ding dong noise kept waking us up. I couldn't tell if it was the elevator or something outside the room. We were right by the elevator and laundry facility. I also had to move my car because someone with a commercial truck parked so close I could barely get in. Other than that, it was a relaxing stay.
