Hilton Garden Inn Trinidad Downtown

The restaurant and bar downstairs were a highlight, a convenient place to get a meal or unwind with a drink without leaving the hotel. The property also has an indoor pool, conference room space for meetings or events, and welcomes pets, which is a big plus when you’re traveling with a dog. My room had a great view, and the newly remodeled rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern, making it easy to relax after a long day. Hilton Garden Inn Trinidad is a great place to stay when visiting Trinidad, with a nice mix of comfort, convenience, and amenities.

We were just passing through and stayed on the 20th of April. Ms. Kim checked us in, and her customer service was top notch. The location of this property is one of the best Garden Inn locations out there. There’s an incredible dog walk area, clean and well kept, and our pups really liked it. If you need a hotel in Trinidad, this is the one!

After coming over Raton Pass, it’s a relief to know there’s a comfortable room waiting at this great hotel. The staff are really friendly, and the property is well kept. Trinidad itself is a lovely stop, too. I’d make this my waypoint on the empty stretch of I-25 between Pueblo and Las Vegas.

We were driving from South Dakota to Arizona after a 22-hour trip and stopped in Trinidad. The hotel is tucked at the edge of downtown, with trails nearby and plenty of parking. It’s clean and nicely kept outside, and has wheelchair access. The train tracks are close, but I only saw one train in the early evening and none overnight. Downtown is about a minute away by car or an eight-minute walk. There’s also a Walmart, Safeway, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, other restaurants, and a couple gas stations nearby. Gas was around $4.99. Check-in was quick, and you can do it on your phone. You need your room key to reach the floors, which is a security feature. Our room was clean and comfortable, with AC, an iron and ironing board, a microwave, and a small fridge. There’s a snack bar for a quick bite, and you can call for extra pillows, blankets, or coffee, or ask for a wake-up call. WiFi, an ATM, a pool, an exercise room, a business center, and a restaurant are available. The restaurant is open until 9pm, and there’s happy hour from 8 to 9pm. The lounge has comfortable seating, the restaurant seating area is a decent size, and each floor has an ice machine. You can take plenty of pictures around the grounds. Kim helped us with information about the trails and nearby places. I talked with a few employees, and everyone was friendly, positive, and helpful to us as visitors. Ms Yvette, you have one of the politest crews my boys and I have met on our travels. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
