Travelodge by Wyndham Trinidad

They don’t have a pool, hot tub, or exercise room, and breakfast isn’t a full meal. They do provide a bag with a banana, muffin, and similar items, plus coffee. The rooms are clean and affordable, with comfortable beds, and the service is excellent. The staff are polite and friendly. I’ve kept staying here since the Days inn with the sunrise bar and grill closed in October. Speaking only from my own experience, this is a great place to sleep if you’re traveling for business or just passing through and need rest.

Luan was running the motel while the manager took time off, and he was kind and generous. He even helped me sort out logistics for fixing my house, and I’ll always appreciate that. I’d come to Trinidad on an emergency trip to repair a problem at our rental and needed a room for a night or two. The room was clean and spacious, and it was quiet and restful even though I stayed on December 30th & 31st. I was surprised to find an adjustable mirror light around the mirror in the shower area. I enjoyed the short stay and will return when I need to come into town.

The Travel Lodge in Trinidad Colorado was surgically clean, with hard floors, a marble-like bathroom, and sealed toilets. I’ve stayed in 5 Star places that weren’t presented or equipped this well. The grab bag was efficient and economical for both of us, and much appreciated. Thank you, I’m sure we’ll see you again. This was during my three-week, 4000 mile trip around the southeast USA, staying in hotels from the Anchor Inn to Z Hotels, places I’ve tried at one time or another.

Ms. Patricia was wonderful, and the price was great too. We got a nice grab-and-go breakfast, big fluffy towels that were the best we’ve had, and a great mattress with big fluffy body pillows. The room was quiet and spacious. This was one of the cleanest hotels we stayed in during our 30 plus day road trip across America. Excellent!
