Aloft by Marriott Trophy Club Westlake

Randy at the bar was awesome when we stopped for a drink, and our room was great too. I just wish there were more places to hang or store clothes, which is why I held back from giving the room five stars. I knew the area a little and decided to try the hotel even though I'd never stayed here before. The atmosphere and design were a pleasant surprise. We arrived without a reservation, and Cristian at the front desk was polite and very helpful, so we got off to a good start. I travel a lot, and both this place and its people are fantastic.

The room's open sink and light area made it hard to be considerate of someone trying to sleep. If one person was getting ready, the other needed earplugs and an eye mask. The door also shuts so forcefully that leaving quietly was impossible. We both ended up with sore throats and stuffy noses from the AC, though I liked the blackout shade. Staff were nice and helpful, and it was easy to walk to food. There was a fantastic little breakfast spot very close by.

We drove from St. Louis to Texas to adopt two dogs from a rescue, and the people at Aloft Westlake were excited for us and made the stay feel special. It was our first time booking somewhere dog friendly, and it exceeded what we expected. The hotel, grounds, and our room were all fantastic. Big shout-out to Madi, five stars!

Tristen makes check-in easy, and I always feel looked after when I stay here. He greets people warmly, listens, and answers questions patiently and clearly. He takes time to explain things without rushing, and can chat while still being professional. I've stayed several times, and that thoughtful, personal service at the Aloft Trophy Club Westlake front desk keeps making a real difference.
