Homewood Suites by Hilton Trophy Club Southlake

McKinley made the welcome and check-in quick and pleasant, with friendly small talk and answers to all our questions. There was only one agent at the desk, but we didn't wait long. Staff were kind, the location was good, and we found parking right out front. It was our first time at this Hilton location. The entrance was well lit, though the outdoor trash by the door was overflowing and off-putting. Apart from that, the grounds were well kept. The lobby smelled clean and felt spacious, with drinks and snacks available, plus cute dog treats at the desk. Breakfast is offered, and there's plenty of seating in the dining area. Our King suite was maintained and cool when we arrived, with lots of outlets for electronics. The TV sat in the middle of the room at an awkward angle from the bed, though it wasn't too bad. The kitchenette was clean and organized, but one butter knife had a dirty handle and the kitchen trash can was small if you needed to toss larger things. The beds were firm, and the feather pillows weren't my preference because they didn't give much neck support. The facilities were clean and stocked, and the night light by the sink was a nice touch. The AC worked well; you could hear it, but it wasn't loud enough to cause an issue.

The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed within easy reach. The real highlight was Delvin, who was friendly and patient throughout our stay and went out of his way to help. He clearly cares about guests. My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience here.

We booked a reasonably priced, clean room for New Year's night because we weren't comfortable driving home with all the crazy people on the road. Breakfast was hot and fresh. We accidentally left a bag behind, and the staff happily retrieved it and held it for us until we could pick it up. They did a very good job.

We had to add another week after booking four nights because of apartment problems, and the staff managed to keep us in the same suite. The full fridge and the plates, cups, and silverware came in handy since we unexpectedly needed to stay several nights. Breakfast was pretty good, and I liked that they varied the menu a little for people staying multiple days. The snack area had a good range of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.
