Comfort Inn Troutdale - Portland East

We haven’t stayed yet, but after speaking with Kristina at the front desk, we’re already pleased. She was delightful and so helpful, answered all my questions, booked us, and found us a great rate.

I was mortified to walk in on someone after being handed keys to an already occupied room at check-in. The man inside followed me to the front desk while I waited for them to sort it out, making inappropriate remarks about nearly sleeping with me and saying I was cute but he didn’t think his wife would like it. The front desk woman apologized and said the system hadn’t recorded who was checking in, but she denied that I’d been harassed. I was thankfully moved to a room on another floor, but this kind of service should never happen. I won’t stay here again. Do better, Comfort Inn.

I was here for work with a big flatbed truck and cargo, and the parking worked perfectly. My daughter recommended this place, and it delivered. The room was clean, with a comfortable king bed, though the refrigerator in room 207 buzzed a little. I joked that it was white noise. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was very good, especially the sausage gravy, and the coffee wasn’t bad. There’s a sweet hot tub, plus a small gym where you can get a surprisingly good workout. There’s also a cool little airport across the street with helicopters.

Getting up early to work quietly on my business was easy, and I had a great cup of fresh hot coffee. My dog was welcome, which I appreciated. Anna, who was setting up breakfast, was very friendly, and the food was impressive: fresh eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, with plenty for all kinds of appetites. Amy at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. The room was modern and comfortable, with a great bed. I also loved the shower accessories and the hot water after being out in the cold wind. I’d recommend this hotel to family and friends visiting town.
