Dahna and Evelyn were wonderful hosts for our quarterly meetings. They were smiling and made sure everything went smoothly. Booking the meeting space is easy, and it’s always clean and set up just right for our needs. Thanks to both of you. Definitely come see them.

We had a great stay at this lovely, brand-new hotel, and the room layout gave our family of four plenty of space. The only thing we’d change is the pool temperature. In the middle of an Ohio winter it really should be warm, but it wasn’t.

The room smelled odd when I walked in, and the breakfast was basic, though I know it’s a lower-tier Marriot. What made me uncomfortable was how often staff seemed to watch me, whether I was eating breakfast, leaving the lobby, riding the elevator, or loading my car. It felt like more than a passing glance, as if I’d done something wrong, and it honestly freaked me out. There were also random men standing outside at strange times, and the front desk people seemed weird. The place looks nice from outside, but some of the people staying and working here seemed shady. I had a fantastic stay at the Home2Suites next door last year, so I think I’ll stay there instead.

The hotel is close to Frickers for chicken wings, Marion Pizza, which has the best pizza ever, and Texas Roadhouse. It’s also conveniently just off the highway. Nancy was incredibly pleasant when we arrived for the evening shift, and check-in was quick and easy. Our clean king suite was ready on the third floor, and the bed was comfortable. I’d stay again and recommend it, even though the bathroom setup was odd. I’m not a fan of the barn-style sliding door, and the long, narrow bathroom meant the shower was smaller than usual, though there was still enough room. The glass door seal didn’t work very well, and, as other reviews mention, a lot of water leaked onto the bathroom floor. The mat towel was soaked and there was a puddle in front of it. I think the floor, door, and seal just have a gap or poor angle. It was surprising how few people were staying there over the weekend, because it’s clearly a new hotel and people are missing out.
