On the morning after we checked in on February the 21st of 2026, my wife's back and arms were covered in bites. I called Becky and spoke with the manager, who said we must have picked them up somewhere else and that I just wanted a free night. He didn't apologize, only said he would have it checked. My wife saw her doctor on Monday the 23rd, and it was determined the bites were from bed bugs. When we first entered the room, there was a mold and mildew smell, and the small chair was stained with mold and mildew. I called the front office, and someone replaced it with a rolling chair. The manager was very rude and seemed to care only about money. Please don't stay here.

I was in town for work, and Baymont was only a few minutes down the road from my workplace. The rate was reasonable, the room was fairly clean, and check-in and checkout both went smoothly. The manager was professional and helped out with a few small things I needed. No problems during my stay, and I'd come back.

It's in a convenient spot, but that's about the only good thing I can say. The place is grungy, and I won't stay here again or recommend it. They advertised a hot breakfast, but the only hot item was a waffle maker. There was cereal and oatmeal, plus coffee without caffeine. Terrible place to stay.

The woman at reception was nice, and the outside looked okay. We got a good last-minute price, but the room was filthy, with holes and patches in the walls and a disgusting ceiling. The bathroom was so grimy we skipped showering. My son killed some cockroaches running over the dresser and TV. Even though breakfast was free, it wasn't worth having.

Breakfast amounted to coffee for us, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The room had sticky tile floors and a moldy fridge, and the air conditioner was loud. The bed itself was clean and fine.
