The conditions were pretty good for our first snowboarding trip of the season, and the staff were all kind and pleasant. Our friend started feeling as if she might pass out at the top of the mountain. The medics were professional and helpful, and didn't pressure us into anything. Just a great experienc.

On checkout day, the housekeeping team woke me around 7:30 even though checkout wasn't until 11am. I told them when we planned to leave, but they came back to knock twice more, at 8:30 and 9:30. It felt like they were trying to force us out. When we checked in early, staff said they'd message me once the unit was ready. We called a few times and were told housekeeping was still working in it. We waited until 4pm, only to find nobody was there. They'd held our unit for no reason. I've had very good experiences with other vacation rental companies in Northstar. There are plenty there, so if you want to stay inside Northstar, pick another option. This was the worst rental experience I've ever had in Northstar.

We booked this condo for a spontaneous weekend and had such a good time. It was close enough to walk into the village for dinner and spend time by the skating rink. The shuttle was a great extra too: you can wait at a stop or call from your condo, and they’ll pick you up with your gear and bring you to the village.

The late arrival was handled so smoothly. We got in close to midnight, after the registration office had shut, but an employee answered the intercom right away and gave me the steps. A code opened a mailbox with our parking pass, condo access code, directions, and Wi-Fi details. It took about a minute. Our Aspen Grove efficiency condo was also well equipped, comfortable for a summer visit, and only a short walk from the village.
