The welcome packet made everything easy, and check-in and check-out were both simple. Our room felt fresh and comfortable, with modern touches, nice furnishings, and everything clean. The property and the nearby neighborhood were peaceful, with places to go in town close by. Staying at 16 Elm was a real pleasure, easily the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The record room was my favorite, with the piano room close behind. I loved wandering between all the distinctive spaces and relaxing there. Having no TVs was a plus for me. We visited 16 Elm in winter, and the bedroom fireplace made the stay feel especially cozy and luxurious.

We had the building to ourselves from Monday until Wednesday, and the place was immaculate with really comfortable bedding. I also got to play some great albums in the turntable room. It had been ages since I’d listened to a record that way, and it was a lot of fun. We walked just two blocks for dinner and breakfast, and both spots were great. I’d definitely come back.

The South Wing suite was spacious and beautiful, and Nicole made us feel so welcome. I was struck by the foyer and main house, especially the library full of books and games. I’d definitely come back for another chance to rest and relax.

Elm Heritage gave us the peaceful break we wanted while we were in Ithaca for our son's state swim championship. We didn’t want the busy feel of a standard downtown Ithaca hotel. The South Wing Suite was spotless and thoughtfully prepared, so we could just walk in and unwind. The attention to detail was the best we’ve experienced in years.
