Blue Sea Motor Inn

The staff really made the stay, especially the owner, who helped us when our car malfunctioned. Rooms are clean and cozy, and getting to the ocean and beach is easy. It’s laid back and affordable, with convenient access to PTown. We’ll be back next year, and I’d definitely recommend it.

There was plenty of room inside, and our room had what we needed. The motel was clean and well placed for P Town, but it could use an update. Getting from the office to the room was awkward, and the upstairs stairs need some attention.

The location is fantastic and the price is hard to beat. We stayed in a beach-view room, which felt like a completely different world from the other rooms, though I’d happily stay in one of those too. It’s a small motel right on the beach, so the carpet isn’t perfectly free of sand, but that’s bound to happen when you open the door to the beach. Staying here felt magical. We’ll come back whenever we can.

This was our second stay, and we preferred the beach side. We were in the front part of the parking lot, so there was still a short walk to the beach, but it wasn’t bad. We caught a gorgeous sunset there. The beach wasn’t combed and had seaweed everywhere, though it was too cold for us to swim anyway. The bus stop is right across the street, and I recommend taking it into P-Town. The room was spacious and we never heard the neighbors, but the beds weren’t very comfortable. The bathroom was very pink and could use an update, although everything in the room worked well. Bring food and drinks, stop on the way, or head into P-Town, since the only small convenience store is about a ten-minute drive down the road. There’s also a hotel restaurant farther along where we got breakfast.
