Stephanie, who prepared and served breakfast, was the one bright spot. She was friendly, sweet, personable, charming, and on top of her job. She made us feel welcome and deserves a special shout-out. That's why I gave the hotel a second star. We often check under the beds when we travel. There we found bright red weave chunks, several drops of blood, natural hair, and a used Q-tip. The rest of the place didn't inspire confidence either. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart and shedding paint from the moisture, with no exhaust fan. The torn seal under the door was hanging down. The hotel looks run down and was not clean to a standard that matched the price or basic expectations. Disgusting is the word for it. The highway noise made sleep nearly impossible, with semis engine-braking, slamming brakes, and honking late into the night and early morning. At check-in, the front desk ladies were pleasant enough, but didn't tell us about the additional $99.99 incidental hold. When we asked about it, they claimed they'd explained it already. They hadn't, and I'm confident CCTV would back that up. The facade is beautiful, it's well lit, and there's plenty of parking. Beyond that, this was a total mess. As IHG members, staying here felt somewhat forced. If you're not, there are better options nearby, so I'd strongly avoid it.

I usually have a pretty good stay here, and there are nice restaurants, LA fitness, and a police station in the area. This time I saw two ladybugs and the biggest water bug, casually crawling up the wall. The key card system went down, so the front desk had to walk guests to their rooms.

Great hospitality. My room was spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. The man handling room service was friendly and very polite. I loved my stay!

We felt safe the whole time, and the stay was great overall. We were there Friday-Sunday and did see the second elevator mentioned in other reviews. Some laminate boards were lifting, though it wasn't too bad. The numbers had been removed and repainted in white paint or white-out. Breakfast was just OK.

The elevator also felt unsafe and didn't seem up to code. There was no manager onsite Saturday evening, and the night attendant offered 500 points for the trouble. In the morning I showed the manager my photos, but she brushed off the sticky residue as dryer residue and said the bug I'd found was just a water bug. She offered 5,000 points but wouldn't change the rate, and I didn't feel she cared or took responsibility. After a long travel day, I had to move rooms and sanitize the room myself twice because of cleanliness problems. The whole experience was frustrating and disappointing. I left extremely unhappy and wouldn't recommend staying here.
