Pat is a great host, and I enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast. It’s a lovely place if you like staying a little off the beaten path. Our dog loved the walks along the gravel road, too. I’d definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area.

Pat made us a fantastic breakfast after I went for a swim in the pool. I really enjoyed meeting her and staying at her lovely hacienda. We’ll definitely come back!

The sunrise and the mountains in the morning are breathtaking here. Desert Oasis is a peaceful house about 3 miles from Saguaro National Park. Patty is a gracious hostess who serves a home-cooked “desert” breakfast.

I had booked through Expedia, but when I arrived they said they were overbooked and had no rooms. The only option they offered was sleeping on a couch and sharing a bathroom. I had to find another hotel at the last minute and pay twice as much.

The whole house and the rooms were clean and comfortable. She made breakfast for us at 8 a.m., and we had really good conversation and company. She clearly enjoys sharing her home.
