Desert Trails Bed & Breakfast

The house has an eclectic look that may not suit everyone, but the rooms are roomy and the hosts are lovely. I found my room clean and the bed comfortable. There was fresh fruit, snacks, and bottled water in the breakfast room whenever I wanted some. John made a great breakfast, and the coffee was strong. I didn't try the pool, though it looked like a good size, and there seemed to be enough space for a large group. It's on the edge of town without feeling remote, with food and shopping about ten minutes away. The airport is around a 30-minute drive, depending on those 25-45 mph speed limits. I'd happily stay again in Tucson.

The Spud Rock room had a huge Saguaro right outside its sliding glass door, which made the place feel special. My boyfriend and I got attached to Desert Trails Bed and Breakfast during our recent stay. John's breakfasts were fantastic every morning, and John and Steffi were among the kindest, most compassionate people I've met. It really felt like a home away from home. We appreciate them so much and are already planning a return trip sometime next year.

The setting is so quiet, with Saguaro National Park all around and a trailhead only two miles away. Steffi and John were warm and helpful, and John's breakfasts were some of the best meals I had in Tucson. It was exactly the kind of Bed and Breakfast stay I hoped for. Highly recommend!

John is a terrific cook, so don't miss his breakfasts. We stayed at the Desert Trails B&B on our first trip to Tucson, and the hosts were wonderful about sharing their special place with us. Book it if you can, you'll be happy with your stay in Tucson!
