Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast

Pat was so helpful with whatever we needed, and we’d absolutely come back to Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast. She asks about food preferences and allergies when you arrive, then handles breakfast from there. Every morning came with delicious food and coffee. We stayed in the French Country Suite, which was just right for the two of us. I also really appreciated the bench in the walk-in shower, since I was recovering from surgery and couldn’t stand for long.

There’s plenty to enjoy around Tucson, from the Jazz Festival, Gem Show and Jewelry Show to the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun and the Gaslight Theater. We’ll have to come back for more of Pat’s cooking, and maybe cool off in the pool if we visit in summer. Our room was huge and had a king bed, fireplace, A/C, and all the amenities. Pat is a gracious, professional host with impressive cooking experience from owning a French restaurant for 20 years, along with a nutrition degree she taught at U of Arizona.

We spent an anniversary weekend here and loved the breakfasts. The courtyard garden was beautiful, the pool was refreshing, and the B&B felt removed from the city even though it’s in Tucson. We’re definitely coming back.

Pat was delightful and attentive, and the food was great. Our enormous room was nicely appointed, with its own entrance, and the courtyard lights were a lovely touch. It had been a while since we’d stayed at a proper Bed and Breakfast, and we really enjoyed it.
