The bed was comfy, and I never heard the little fridge cycle on and off. The staff were very kind, and it’s an easy spot to catch an Uber for the 3-5 minute ride to the city center and good restaurants. Breakfast is a very basic continental spread, and the coffee is good, but they only have non-dairy creamers. Get a second-floor room if you want to avoid hearing people walk overhead, the floors creak a lot. There’s no option to run just the HVAC fan for a bit of white noise.

The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and fairly quiet. It’s a budget hotel with comfortable beds and a decent breakfast. Some of the equipment is old and could use maintenance, including the AC and TV, but for the price it’s fine. We stayed one night.

I’m writing this at 3 AM while people in the next room make screaming bedroom noises through the thin connecting door, even after the front desk told them to quiet down. This is the worst hotel I’ve been to in years. The walls, windows, and doors are all extremely thin and noisy, and the construction feels cheap. Street racers, aggressive drivers, and even the train kept waking me through the night. At 9:15 AM, contractors with blowers or something made very loud noise, and the thin windows did nothing to block it. The toilet is almost detached from the floor, the shower barely trickles, and the sink is missing a stopper with an open hole in its drain plumbing. The beds have the thinnest sheets I’ve ever seen. The advertised free Wi-Fi doesn’t reach the room or connect on any of my devices. The mini fridge is off by default to save a few cents, and the worn outlets won’t hold chargers. The sprinkler system is broken in places and shoots water ten feet into the sky. Random people ask for money in the hotel parking lot. Marijuana smoke from units at the end makes the whole compound smell like stoners. Housekeeping may or may not clean the room, and even when they do, they forget to replace coffee or empty both trash bins. This is a horror story, not a hotel. Just unbelievable.

I booked through a third party and paid in advance, but the hotel still charged my credit card after confirming it was prepaid. I called to ask for a refund, and almost two months later they still haven’t returned the money. Even setting that aside, I wouldn’t recommend this place. One star at best, with crappy rooms and horrible front desk people.
