We only wish we'd booked a longer stay. We spent four nights here for the rodeo with our 35-foot Super C and tow vehicle, and had a pull-through site. Check-in was pleasant, and Sue(?) was helpful and funny. We made good use of the hot tub, heated pool, laundry, and the best gym we've seen at a campground. The resort is large, very clean, and well maintained. The neighbors were friendly and shared lots of good tips. There was live music, a chiminea, and events like ice cream or wine tastings. Some sites have covers, and a few have a nice fireplace or two-story patio. A fun extra was the citrus: we could pick fruit from trees we could reach, borrow a pole for higher branches, or take extra fruit from a shelf. We had a very sweet grapefruit and an orange that wasn't quite ripe. We'll stay longer next time.

We had a fantastic week here. The site was level and everything worked, while the staff were consistently helpful and pleasant. Nights were peaceful, though you could occasionally hear jets, which is to be expected near an AFB. It never bothered us, and seeing the planes was a fun reminder of where our tax dollars go. The resort welcomes conversions and older RVs. We saw skoolies and tents in the designated tent sites, and our 1980 MCI fit right in. That's one reason we love KOA. The pools were clean, the hot tubs were a great way to end the evening, and we met lots of friendly people and made new friends. In the mornings we picked oranges and grapefruit for breakfast. You can rent pickers, which was fun for the kids. We'll be back and recommend the place.

There was so much for the kids to do that we barely left the resort all week. They had a large craft room with a climbing wall and giant beanbag, yard games, covered playgrounds, a little library, and a great pool with a waterfall and hot tubs. We also enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds, with cacti and fruit trees where we picked fresh oranges and lemons. Our dog liked the dog wash, and having plenty of laundry machines made washing easy. We had a pull-through gravel site that was easy to set up on, and the gated entrance made us feel very safe. We enjoyed seeing the unusual two-story patio sites, though we didn't stay at one. Everyone was friendly. We'd love to return and recommend it to anyone.

March 2026 was our third stay here, and we love the place. We're planning to return next year for two months. The staff are wonderful, the amenities are great, and the restaurant food is fantastic. Our site was under a solar panel this time, but next year we'll choose an open spot for my astrophotography and solar photography. The sites are long and have plenty of space between neighbors, which makes a longer stay comfortable. Many have fruit trees too. I enjoyed the grapefruit and oranges and used lots of lemons in drinks. The pool stays at a pleasant winter temperature for a swim or dip, around 82F, I think. Tucson has plenty to see, and mountain sightseeing is an easy one to two hours away.

The restaurant deserves five stars. We watched the football playoffs in the sports bar, enjoyed some very good local beers, and had fresh, tasty steaks. My large Caesar salad with chopped steak was just right, though the steak pieces had quite a bit of fat. The park is clean, pretty, and has a pool and hot tub, though we didn't use either. We were here one night after our granddaughter's sporting event. There are citrus trees around the grounds, and you can pick fruit when it's ripe. The restrooms, showers, and dog areas aren't close to every site. Some spaces have small private dog enclosures if requested, but none were available when we arrived. There is one large dog area and a few smaller ones. The park is so big that lots of people rent golf carts to get around. If one of our two dogs needed to go out in the middle of the night, I couldn't get there in time. It's convenient to the Tucson Convention Center, but I'm not interested in staying here again.
