Woodspring Suites Tucson South

The rooms are roomy, almost like small studios, and the downtown location is handy. But the service was a real letdown. I was there for 16 nights and was told at check-in that housekeeping would come once, two days before checkout. They never came, and at checkout the front desk said they sometimes miss floors. That wasn't an acceptable explanation. For longer stays, guests have to change their own sheets and get towels from the front desk, with an extra $40 charge. You also have to buy a kitchen kit if you want cookware. The location and space are good, but service is so limited it doesn't meet basic hotel standards.

The room was clean and comfortable, though pretty average, and free parking was a plus. There wasn't anything interesting nearby or at the hotel, and construction around the property made the view unpleasant. Food options are about 6-7 minutes away by car. Fine for a work trip when you just need somewhere decent to sleep and shower, but that's about it :)

We felt at home as soon as we arrived, thanks to Irving. He was professional, kind, and paid attention to the little things throughout our stay at WoodSpring Suites in the Tucson Arizona Marketplace. He always greeted us warmly and was ready to help, making us feel welcome and valued. People who care that much about guests are rare. Irving deserves a raise, and WoodSpring Suites is lucky to have him. We'll keep coming back year after year because of him.

Irving always checks how I'm doing and whether I need anything, like extra soap, towels, or shampoo. He never lets me down. The staff are such generous people, and I always feel looked after.
