DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Seattle Airport - Southcenter

The van driver was cool, and the conference room servers were great. The beds were comfortable too. But the prices are wild: $28 for the buffet, and $20 for a continental breakfast I still have to make myself. Denny's can make it and bring it to me for $15. Three shots cost $44, holy moley. The waitress was awkward and seemed like she'd murder me if I didn't tip. The bartender was awkward too, and seemed like he didn't know English. The hot tub has been broken for at least a month.

Both times I stayed, I got none of the Hilton Honors perks or points. I asked about it each time and was told they'd correct my account, but they didn't. I got no rewards at all and feel taken advantage of. I didn't even get a senior discount.

My sister took me out for a birthday lunch, but I probably won't go back. The Chicken Katsu came with spicy sauce poured over the crisp chicken, and neither the menu nor the waitress mentioned it. It was too hot for me to eat more than four bites, so they exchanged it for a fresh dish. They also didn't have the rice listed with it, so I chose noodles instead. The Cucumber cabbage salad was a nice accompaniment.

The hot tub at the pool was great, one of the few good things about the hotel. I thought the breakfast was okay, but $28 for the buffet and $20 for continental breakfast felt too expensive. Honestly, Ihop would be better and much cheaper. At $190 to $220 a night, charging $3 for bottled water when you can buy 48 for $3.98 makes it seem like management doesn't care about ordinary guests. The hotel won't even provide water that costs them $0.08.
