Hotel Interurban Seattle Airport SeaTac

The room was on the small side, but thoughtfully arranged to make good use of the space and look nice. I liked the comfy chair by the window, where I could watch the city with my coffee. We spent two days here, and breakfast was delicious and different each morning. Dinner from the restaurant was a hit too: we both got the hot chicken sandwich, and the fries were so good I kept eating after I was full. The pool was clean and relaxing, and everyone we met, from front desk and restaurant staff to housekeepers, was friendly and smiling. It’s close to South Center mall and shops, and has a fun modern look. I’d stay again.

Travis at the bar was such a ray of sunshine. I’d only stopped in for hot water for my tea, but his positive attitude got me to order something. Nyi was great at check-in and told me about the facilities and amenities without me having to ask, which doesn’t happen at most places. My room was clean and quiet. It was a pleasant stay, and I’m glad this is one of the hotels our company chooses for the crew.

The food was fine, and the dining was actually quite nice. The room was okay and the bed was comfortable. I picked this place at the last minute because of my flight schedule and how close it is to the airport. I’m a Marriott elite and rarely stay elsewhere, but the ratings looked good. Check-in was odd: the male attendant asked overly personal questions and came across as conservative, ill-informed about the property, and sexist, despite what may have been good intentions. I asked whether the fitness room had a yoga mat and foam roller and was told neither was available. In the morning I found both there. He didn’t seem to know what the room had or want to inform a female guest. Front desk service at check-in and checkout wasn’t up to the hotel’s standard. The staff experience fell short. Fitness rooms matter a lot to modern travelers, so the hotel should spend $50 to replace the worn, taped, paint-covered yoga balls and get decent workout mats. Modern hotels have them. Thanks.

There are stores, activities, and restaurants within walking and driving distance, and parking is a reasonable $15 per night. Breakfast is free each day, varied from one day to the next, and among the best I’ve had at a hotel. We stayed 2 nights on the 7th floor, which was VERY quiet. The room was clean and spacious, with robes, a scale, and a safe. New robes are available to buy for $75. The bed was so comfortable I hated leaving it. Front desk, housekeeping when requested, and the breakfast team all gave top notch service. No complaints, I’d absolutely stay again, 12/10!
