Hyatt House Orlando International Drive

We drove for 16 hours and needed to check in early during Christmas week. Tiana at the front desk did her best to get the room ready, and even found a ball for my son to use at the pool. When he later forgot the safe code, Jose came in early on Christmas Eve and quickly got his things out, so we could make it to our destination on time. Housekeeping also took care of what we needed. Breakfast was included, hot and fresh, and the staff kept replenishing the food and the area clean. The location was spot on for everywhere we needed to go. We also ate at the HBar on our last day, and my husband enjoyed his meal. My family and I had a great stay. Thank you, Hyatt.

We brought our dog along and found the hotel welcoming and easy for pets. Our eighth-floor view was lovely, and parking was included in the price. Breakfast came with the stay and had a nice range of choices. The suite was modern, clean, and thoughtfully laid out for a family or group: a living room, two bedrooms, one with two queen beds and the other with a king, and each bedroom had its own TV and bathroom. The full kitchen was useful when we wanted to make meals. Comfortable and stylish, it exceeded our expectations. We’d love to return.

The lack of working elevators made this a poor choice for guests with disabilities or mobility needs. There was no clear communication or suitable accommodation. At the desk, staff seemed overwhelmed and unsure of basic procedures. It was also noisy well into the night, with children running, stomping and yelling. We complained, but nothing changed. Breakfast was disappointing too, since there wasn’t any coffee. The hotel needs better training and management, along with more attention to comfort and accessibility. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially to families hoping to rest or guests who need accessible facilities.

It’s a quiet, safe, laid-back place in a great location, and the staff made me feel welcome and helped with anything I needed. You can see they take pride in keeping the hotel nice and making guests comfortable. I’d come back and recommend it to anyone after a clean, simple stay with genuinely friendly people.
