The room was beautiful, comfortable, and the owner was happy to share what he knows about the hotel and area. The spiral staircase is lovely, though it could be a problem if you have mobility challenges. At this price, it would cost $200 a night elsewhere. Definitely worth staying, or at least stopping by to see the place and hear the owner's stories.

The owner was really accommodating, and the place is very well kept. Whether you're hunting on the range or visiting Tularosa for another reason, it's a great place to stay. A perfect experience.

A wonderful place to unwind in Tularosa. The room was gorgeous, very comfortable, and stocked with everything a guest might need. Joe Ben was a gracious, knowledgeable host. There was also a wonderful bookstore, and Joe Ben shared great insights.

If you'd like the free breakfast, I'd suggest arranging it before your stay. We stayed in Miss Kitty, a huge room with a comfortable king bed, lovely lighting, robes, a big cozy couch facing a large TV, a jacuzzi bath, a shower, a fridge, games, and warm, thoughtful decor.

I loved my stay in this quiet spot in the old town. The hotel has lots of history, and the owner, who clearly loves what he does, told us about it. That made the experience extra special. Definitely a place to see.
