They even let us gather in the breakfast area for a small celebration for my mother's birthday, and the customer service was outstanding. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Our room was nice, the beds were comfortable, and there was a good choice at breakfast. We'll be back.

The rooms and amenities are nice, and the hotel seems fairly new, but my experience with Michael at the front desk was bad. Nearly a month after checking out, the hotel still had my $25 damage deposit. When I called, Michael didn't listen until I was finished and hung up on me. He told me to check with my credit card company instead of taking a minute to look into what might have happened on the hotel's end. I explained that this was the first of five hotels on my trip, and the other four all returned their deposits. Michael seemed to jump to a conclusion without hearing me out. Maybe he was busy with another customer at the desk, but the employees need better training.

The stay itself was fine. I was here with my son for a hockey game, but a month later my deposit still hasn't been returned, and I haven't been able to get help. I've called several times with no response. Waiting a month without assistance is crazy, and I'll change this review once the issue is resolved.

The damp, musty odor hit me as soon as I entered the room on both visits. This was my second stay, and I had the same problem each time. It reminded me of old water-damaged cabinets, though there weren't any under the sink. During my first five-day visit I left with a scratchy throat, watery eyes, and a runny nose. The same symptoms came back during this three-day stay. I noticed standing water in the air-conditioner tray, and I suspect the bath or shower seal is broken and letting water get under the tile. I think those things may be causing the strong mold smell. If you're sensitive to mold, I'd avoid the hotel until this is fixed. It's a shame, because the hotel is clean and modern, the breakfast is great, and the staff are extremely kind and accommodating. In many ways it's a great place to stay.
