Holiday Inn Exp & Sts Tulsa South - Woodland Hills

We had a big group in town for a wedding, and this hotel met all our needs. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were wonderful, especially Melissa. There are plenty of restaurants and activities close by, so I'd definitely recommend staying here. The one drawback was that the hotel shares its entrance with the mall, whose traffic gets busy on weekends. That's why I gave the location four stars.

The thermostat didn't work in multiple rooms. Staff said the thermostats were new, and that if they'd known, they would have set the thermostat for our VIP so it would work fine. I don't understand why they didn't do that for all of them.

Being a Tulsa native back in town for Christmas, I found it easy to get around from this spot right by the mall. The staff were amazing, breakfast was better than at most places, and our room was nice. We had no noise problems.

The bed was a dream, the hotel was super clean and affordable, and the pool was nice and cold. Breakfast was decent, too. We checked out and then realized an hour later that we'd left a bag behind. I called, and the employees were very understanding and friendly about letting us come back for it. My only suggestion is about the cooling system. It only goes down to a certain temperature, and there's no fan setting. If you're not used to a very quiet room, bring a portable fan. It might also help if you get too hot under the thick comforter. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5 and will be back.
