SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Tulsa East

The woman at the front desk wasn't friendly, and I had a terrible experience. The previous week I'd booked through a third-party website to get a deal without any issue. This time, my receipt and statement showed two nights, and they did have the room for two nights, but I was told I'd only booked one. I assume they were upset that I booked through a third party instead of directly with them, even though it saved me money. She called around 11-11:30 AM and said I needed to get my things because I only had one night. I was at work and couldn't leave immediately. I got there an hour later and was charged a $25 late fee, payable only in cash, so I know she pocketed it. I called to speak with a manager and, of course, got hung up on.

I'm usually fine with sure stay, but I won't stay at this hotel again. The first room had torn carpet and a hole in the curtains. In the second, there was trash under the sink and almost no water pressure at the sink. Both rooms had very hard, uncomfortable beds. The man claiming to be the manager was a real jerk, couldn't take criticism of his property, and needs to act more professionally. The rooms were dirty and broken.

The photos and description on Expedia and other apps don't match this hotel. I strongly suggest going somewhere else. I'm letting people know they really need to choose another place.

The owners, if I'm not mistaken, are Christian, and they even picked me up at the airport. The employees were exceptional and the hospitality was really good. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and my room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was okay, though everything was good except the eggs. I'd give the quality and beauty a huge rating.
