The club Lounge food was high quality, fresh, and offered lots of healthy choices for everyone. There was plenty of turnover, and the staff handled it well. We also liked the suite and the elite treatment. Our Oceanfront Suite was updated, functional, and comfortable for a family. As a globalist, I appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts and that they’d clearly read my preference notes. The outdoor areas, especially the beautiful, timeless pool, were well kept, even though the hotel itself is seriously aging and needs an extensive renovation. Breakfast was the main frustration, especially on weekends. The lines to get in were extremely long and the room felt overwhelming, with staff working hard to keep everything full. It wasn’t relaxing until weekday crowds had cleared out. For a hotel of this caliber, cutlery and napkins should be set on the tables, even in a small caddy, so guests don’t have to fetch them. Offering breakfast in the club Lounge on Saturday and Sunday, or the busiest days, could help. Extending breakfast past 10:00 a.m. would also make sense for a resort.

Everyone was so kind, and the service was fantastic. The calm, relaxed mood of people on the island rubs off on you while you’re here. I really can’t think of anything I didn’t like. Hope I get to come back one day! 🙏✈️🌴

I’m local and went for the yoga classes my gym holds there, which hotel guests can join complimentary of Hyatt. The class takes place by the ocean, with the soothing sound of waves on the shore. You can also hear families enjoying themselves nearby at the Hyatt’s several pools and little water park. It was a calming experience, and I’ll be attending regularly.

The room was a favorite, with a beach view, lots of space, and a king-sized bed. My husband and I stayed for an event and were very happy with the visit. We’ve also come here many times for balls and other events, and always have a blast. The spaces are nice and the food is incredible. Our latest visit included brunch, which might now be our favorite brunch buffet. I like the location because most nightlife spots are still walkable, and it’s directly across the street from Porkys & Shamrocks building. The parking garage is usually free. It isn’t very large, but I’ve always found a spot. I’ve stayed here once before and often come for events, so it’s a hotel I favor.

The pool and beach were perfect for the kids, and the room was comfortable. The whole resort felt welcoming and relaxing, making our family vacation unforgettable. I especially want to thank General Manager Sophia Chu for helping make it such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely choose Hyatt Regency Guam again on our next visit to Guam.
