The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great, and, aside from all the renovation trouble, we did like it. It should be nice when the work is done. Our booked king room became two queens because the hotel was under renovation, and check-in was slow. The downstairs bathroom was unavailable, the bar wasn't open, and ice was only on the first floor. There were trash bags and dirty linens left outside rooms, which made a terrible impression. Inside our room, a dirty towel had been shoved on a shelf. A staff member said that was how housekeeping worked, with one person picking up trash outside doors while others changed sheets. The renovation adhesive smell in the bathroom was horrible. Then the laundry room flooded when contractors forgot to reconnect a line. What a mess! We had booked through a third-party site.

The room was clean and the stay was still nice, though not what we're used to at Hilton properties. Renovations were underway, and we had a few issues: the thermostat didn't work, the TV remote had problems, and the bar and restaurant seemed understaffed.

We've stayed here many times over the years when visiting the area and it's always been pleasant, so this was a real disappointment. The staff were nice and things were generally clean, but the price is way too high for what's available during renovation. There was no entrance, lobby, pool, or breakfast, and there was construction noise. Call to confirm the work is finished before booking.

Only scalding hot water, front desk staff who couldn't help, and no manager on duty. The current management feels nonexistent, and employees apparently have no way to reach the manager. That's pretty sad. Thanks for making my wife's trip a train wreck. I've stayed here before, but won't again. As a Hilton Honors member, I'll make sure they know this hotel needs new management the next time I reserve in Tupelo. Customer service is zero, which explains the low rating. I'd stay at hotel Tupelo across the street for better service. Let's see what excuse they give in response.

The pool and hot tub are closed while the hotel is being renovated. If you choose your room in the Hilton app, go for the west side, since those rooms have been renovated so far. Judy at the front desk is awesome.
