Breakfast staff were the nicest, though they ran out of selections. Our fourth-floor one-bedroom suite was spacious and very quiet, and the exercise room had a nice Peleton bike. Still, there were several problems. The barn-style sliding bathroom doors wouldn't close all the way, so they didn't give full privacy. The pullout mattress was disgustingly stained and should have been replaced, but apparently there weren't spares in inventory. Maintenance brought a roll-out cot and reprogrammed the bedroom TV, so we could use it for one of our two nights. There was no hot water Sunday morning. I couldn't talk to a hotel manager during our stay, so none of these inconveniences were addressed. Update: Hilton's generic reply says they'd like to make things right and discuss it, but doesn't list a phone number or contact person.

The room had a surprisingly roomy kitchenette, lots of storage, and a full-size fridge that was great for our leftover dinner and drinks. It was clean and very well cared for, even the drawers still had a "new" smell. We were in town for a concert at Cadence Bank Arena, and the location worked perfectly, with easy access to the arena, downtown, and food options nearby or within 1-2 miles. Check-in was smooth. Terri was welcoming and helpful, explained the amenities, and asked which floor we preferred. The bed was comfortable and the room had plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, and small appliances. We liked the breakfast too, with plenty to choose from and tasty food, more variety than we've had at similar hotels. A few things bothered us: there were only three pillows for the king bed, though we could have asked for more. The TV guide didn't always match the channel, and the bathroom outlet nightlight lit up the room at night. We were also near the stairwell and exit at the end of the hall, so those doors opening and closing woke us up at times. We'd ask for a different spot next time. We liked the cleanliness and location and would stay here again on another Tupelo visit.

Bella at the front desk was friendly and made fresh coffee and hot water for tea when we checked in. The hotel has an indoor pool, exercise room and laundry room, though no hot tub. The kitchen had dishes, an apartment-size fridge, microwave and dishwasher. It's easy to find with maps, even though there's no direct access from I-22.

The app made things easy. I checked in the day before, and got a text that the room was ready early today. We also let them know through the app that we'd arrive after 10 PM. Terri was responsive in the chat and reassured us our room would be waiting. She was very welcoming, went over the amenities, and looked into whether I could stay an extra hour to recover since we're heading out on a long trip tomorrow. The room was clean, spacious and had a great kitchenette.
