AC Hotel by Marriott Tuscaloosa Downtown

The room was clean, with a nice updated bathroom and a comfortable bed. Staff were kind from arrival through checkout: the woman checking me in had a big smile, and the two women at the front desk when I left were friendly and especially helpful. The male employee by the coded bar was pleasant and helpful too. It was really nice to have such pleasant people throughout my stay.

The gym was clean and new, with plenty of room to get a good workout in, and grabbing a drink at the hotel bar was a nice surprise. My room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom felt modern and well kept. The staff were friendly when I arrived and whenever I saw them in the hall. The front desk helped me figure out where to eat nearby. AC Hotel Tuscaloosa is also in a handy spot by the University of Alabama and downtown, so getting around was easy. I had a great stay and would come back.

We keep coming back to the AC Hotel in Tuscaloosa, and every stay has been great. Roy Ward has become a friend of ours, and he always takes good care of us. The rooms are consistently clean, the rest of the staff are wonderful, and the downtown location puts everything within walking distance. Already looking forward to our next visit.

For somewhere right in the heart of Tuscaloosa, it was remarkably quiet, and the rooftop bar has great views. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a very welcoming staff and rooms that are spacious, comfortable, and well designed. They have all the tech you need, and the bathroom is gorgeous. The shower is hard to beat, with both a rain setting and strong pressure. It feels like a really expensive luxury hotel, but the price was amazing.
