The refrigerator didn’t get cool, my towels were old and thin, and I had to ask for a full set when I arrived. There were homeless people camped around the property outside, and I could hear the outside door slam while trying to sleep. There was also a rat turd on the counter. The staff weren’t honest with me and overcharged my card. When upgrading my room, she mentioned a $30 charge she was waiving. Later I found an extra $50 charge. I spoke to management and she was rude, VERY RUDE.

UPDATE: They kept our deposit because I brought my own brand new air fryer. There was nothing saying I couldn’t, and I emailed the property 1month + before our stay. They knew I needed to cook. I’m no longer impressed, just pissed off, and I WILL NEVER BOOK HERE AGAIN. Before that, I was impressed, even though I’m usually not happy with these “rinky dink” spots. This suite was amazing and sleeps 6 comfortably. It had a kitchen AREA where we brought our own air fryer, a private entrance, and an upstairs lobby with a couch. Visiting our niece was nice, and even better, the sprinter van full of the rest of the family could stop by and everyone could come in and change clothes, which couldn’t have happened in a regular hotel room. The decor was nice, there were lots of windows, and it was clean, with a TV in both the living room and bedroom.

The stay was pleasant enough, but the prices online didn’t match what the hotel actually charged. I paid more, plus the deposit. If I hadn’t really needed the room, I would’ve left.

Avoid this place. I don’t know what kind of scam is going on. The man at the front desk claimed my payment for the previous night hadn’t gone through, said he had to mark it as cash, and threatened to throw me out with my stuff and my dog. I scraped together every last dollar and asked for a couple of favors so I could double-pay for 4 nights. Luckily I called my bank. The woman there confirmed I had paid for the room Friday morning. She explained that Friday transactions wouldn’t be processed until Monday, but the man kept arguing that the payment showed as pending. He said he’d get a receipt Monday and give me what he owed. Given the smug look on his face, I’m not holding my breath. I wonder what legal options I have.
