For about $100 a night, being able to swim with the kids made it worthwhile. There isn’t much else happening here, and the breakfast they advertise was cereal and frozen sausage sandwiches, with no pancakes. The rooms were reasonably clean, though they could use a small remodel.

We left after five hours because there were so many problems, and they wouldn’t refund us. The key card didn’t work, and it took an hour and a half for someone to fix it, despite the woman saying it’d be 20 minutes. The entire second floor smelled of cigarette smoke. There were plastic gloves over our smoke detector, and toenails beside the hot tub. The service was nowhere near good enough. I’ll never book this hotel again, and I can’t recommend staying here.

The staff at the front desk were polite and helpful. When we had trouble with the TV, a guy came to the room and showed us how to use it. Breakfast was nice, and the pool and hot tub area looked good, though we didn’t try either. We’d stay again. The room was a good size, and the shower was great. The fridge worked well, but the freezer needs defrosting. The king bed sagged in the middle, so we had to sleep near the edges to be comfortable, and it was hard to roll out.

We barely slept the first night. There were kids above us apparently playing tackle football all night. I called the front desk and asked them to tell the family to stop, but they didn’t. I eventually got dressed and went down there myself before the noise stopped. By then I had a terrible migraine and couldn’t do activities with my family the next day. Breakfast was so disappointing that I didn’t even try it. There were crickets in our room, and the AC had some kind of mechanical problem. It sounded like a jet engine and turned on every five minutes. Our outside door was beside the wall where the headboard was attached. Every time someone let it slam shut, it banged the wall so hard it felt like a baseball bat hitting the headboard. You could feel the impact.
