Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Twenty Nine Pal

We had an accessibility room upstairs with two queen beds and stayed for one night. It was better than I expected, and I’d absolutely return, especially with kids. We have a baby and a toddler, and the room was so clean, updated, modern, and comfortable that even the baby had fun crawling around on the carpet. The breakfast was worth it: yogurt, milk, cereal, oatmeal packets, walnuts, dried cranberries, muffins, cinnamon buns, pancakes from a machine, scrambled eggs, hot bread rolls, I think some kind of meat, condiments and spreads, bananas, apples, coffee, tea, and more. They kept restocking everything, and the breakfast was great. The seating area is spacious and comfortable, near the lobby, with high ceilings and big windows. It felt like a brunch restaurant.

We stayed for one night toward the end of December 2025 while visiting “Joshua tree national park.” We had a “2 Queen Standard” room, which was a decent size and very clean. We’d requested a higher-floor room facing the mountains and got one. The sunrise from the room was beautiful. Service was good, though I think there’s room to improve. Breakfast was included, with good choices and hot food, and the staff kept refilling it. We paid $318 with taxes for a small room, which felt on the high side. There’s a microwave, but no onsite restaurant. The property is very close to the Joshua Tree National Park North entrance, which makes it easy to plan a visit. The back door was under maintenance, so getting to the car was a little troublesome, but manageable. We enjoyed our stay, and thanks to the entire holiday inn twentynine Palms team for the great work!

The room was clean and close to the park. Once I plugged things in and turned on the fridge, everything worked. Breakfast on day one, 4/10/2026, was poor in both quantity and quality: they ran out of food and the coffee was cold. It was much better the second day. My room key kept breaking, nobody was at the front desk when I checked out, and my room wasn’t cleaned. Are there not enough employees?

Just outside Joshua Tree National Park, the location is great and the rooms were clean. Breakfast is served daily from 5 to 9 a.m. There’s a wide range of hot options, including eggs, sausages, pancakes, and biscuits with gravy, along with juice, milk, coffee, tea, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, and toast.
