We were caught without a place to stay for a few nights after a last-minute change of plans, so we stopped to ask about availability. The owner came out to greet us and said she could have a room ready within an hour. Kareen was welcoming from the start, gave us maps and local suggestions, and made the stay feel personal with the best motel customer service we've had. It's a cute roadside motel along the main road, close to everything. Our room was adorable, with space for bags and extra things, plus a TV, fridge, and microwave. The bathroom had plenty of towels and travel-size soap and shower supplies. Cat people will like it here: Gilligan, a very friendly cat, hangs around outside and comes right up to you, sometimes trying to sneak into the room. There's also a friendly, chubby orange cat in the lobby. We'll come back next time we're in the area, both for convenience and to see Kareen and the kitties again.

Everything was clean and supplied, the rooms were great, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The service was very nice too. A big, fluffy orange cat greeted us in the office. Highly recommend!

We found this place at the last minute without a reservation, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was small but nice and had everything we needed.

We needed a last-minute place to stay on the North Shore, and this was perfect for a quick getaway. The owner and her two sweet cats were lovely. Our cabin, closest to the highway, was quiet, and the room was clean, basic, and reasonably priced compared with other North Shore options. The shower soaps came in handy after sweaty hikes. If you're in a pinch and see a vacancy, I absolutely recommend it.

After I couldn't sleep in my tent in sub-40 degree weather, I called at 6am hoping to check in right away. The woman was kind and accommodating, letting me in for an overnight stay even though it was so early. I'd been awake more than 24 hours and was freezing after hours in the tent, so I was incredibly grateful. She even went to the room and turned up the heat before I arrived. There's a very cute cat in the check-in office. The room was what you'd expect from a classic old motel, meticulously clean and cozy smelling, like warm wood. The bed, mattress, and pillows were very comfortable. It was a little expensive for what it was, but the location and likely last-minute timing on Memorial Day weekend make the price understandable.
