Atlantis Inn

I was worried after reading the bad reviews, but my stay turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The lady walked me to my room when I checked in. I was in Room 7, on the other side, and didn't mind the walk because it felt more secluded. The beach and bars were close enough to reach on foot, which I loved. I also met the infamous dog. He didn't smell to me, and my room was very clean with no odor at all. The price for three nights was pretty good, around $200, I think, for a room right on the beach. We also had a nice heart-shaped Jacuzzi in our room, which I absolutely loved. I'd love to come back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this pet-friendly little hotel. Room 19 was huge, with a large bathroom, and it was on the ground floor. The location is perfect: the beach was one block away, and all the bars, including Doc's, Bernies, and Nickis, were about 300 feet away. Can't wait to go back.

I was in a bind for work on the island, and Mr.J, Gunny the golden doodle, and Mrs.Sue went out of their way to take care of me. The inn isn't perfect, but it's cozy, and the service was 10/10. They're remodeling the third story now, and it's gonna be the cat's meow when it's done. Tell them what you need and they'll look after you, with true southern hospitality.

The rooms were very clean, and mine had a kitchen, which is great if you want to bring food. The staff were nice, but the rooms themselves are very basic, and the outside could use some attention. There's no breakfast, so other nearby hotels do include that. The bathroom has two raised steps, one as you enter and another before the toilet. That's a bad setup for elderly or disabled guests. I forgot about the step while leaving the bathroom in the middle of the night and fell, banging up my head, hand, and elbow pretty badly.
