The house was immaculate and beautifully furnished, and the beach was just a 30-second bike ride away. They had what we needed, including bikes, water, beach towels and chairs, evening snacks, wine, and a phenomenal breakfast. Pam, the new owner, was a perfect hostess. She was accommodating and gracious without being intrusive. For our anniversary, we came back to find a little gourmet cake with “happy anniversary” on it. It was delicious and such a nice touch. One morning we asked to eat breakfast outside by the pool, and Pam had it set up for us before we knew it. When we decided at the last minute to have anniversary dinner at the house, she quickly laid out the table with candles. She went above and beyond. This was our best romantic anniversary getaway ever, 10 out of 5 stars! Staying at the lighthouse bed and breakfast and having Pam there made us love tybee island again. We've already planned to return this summer. Don't miss this gem!

Pam, our host and the owner, made us feel welcome as soon as she greeted us, and she made all the difference. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cozy. She can really cook: breakfast was incredibly good, and there was always plenty of wine and cheese at 4 o'clock as an extra treat. I can't imagine a better retreat on Tybee, and I'd give it 10 stars if I could. We'll definitely be back, and I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

The beach is a walk or bike ride away, and the area is beautiful. Pam was the best, and the food she made was great. She can really cook! It was our anniversary, and we couldn't have picked a better place. We love it here and will definitely be back soon. Thanks, Pam, for making our anniversary so memorable.

The front porch was a lovely place to sit through an evening rain, especially once it cooled things off. We had a wonderful June 2019 stay in this charming historic home, close to the beach and with a comfortable pool. The owner was a perfect hostess. If you can get a room, consider yourself lucky. It was well worth it.

Breakfast was great, and my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay in the pleasant suburban neighborhood near the beach. The room did feel like staying at grandma's house, though: it was old, had few electrical outlets, and got pretty hot at night because there was no air conditioning.
