We were grateful to have a room during the North Mississippi ice storm so we could get to work safely, but the stay was really disappointing. The room already smelled bad when we checked in the night before the storm, and there were condom wrappers, toenails, and other debris on the floor and under the bed. They also charged the pet deposit multiple times, even though we were told it was a one-time fee, and our cards went into the negative. Then, after we'd spent several nights without power or hot water, the rates went up from what we were quoted on our first night. Staff said the system couldn't be changed, yet apparently prices were changed for several other guests. It felt awful to see people struggling and then be treated that way.

I keep coming back whenever I travel to New Albany, usually for five days or more. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location works perfectly, with shops and restaurants just steps away. The staff are consistently friendly, and it's a great value.

The pillows were the one thing I wish had been better, they were stiff and really flat. The bed itself was comfortable, though, and my king suite was clean and roomy, even by big-city apartment standards. The floors and bathroom were well kept. There was a fridge and microwave too. I noticed some stains on the curtains, but the couch was clean.

The room was a good deal, and the location made it easy to get to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was decent. It looked like the bathroom was being upgraded, though I did spot some mold in the caulking around the tub. The heating and air unit was noisy. Aside from that, the room was fine for the price.

I was in town for an Ole Miss football weekend and this hotel worked out really well. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy, and the climate control was great. The shower was decent, though the tub had a bit of rust. The elevator was quick too. I'd stay here again.
