Budget Inn

In room 145, the old style shower head was awesome. I’d forgotten how good showers used to feel! Aside from that, it was a clean, basic room at a bargain price. Everything worked, my car was still there, and the price at the window was better than online. Make showers great again!

I went there on vacation to see my mother. It was a great place, with very pet-friendly people. All around, a great stop.

There were roaches, and the price had gone from the $65 we paid last time to $81.99 this time. Worse, about 30 minutes before checkout, the guy running the place, I guess the owner, opened the door and walked in without knocking while my friend was getting dressed. I was across the street getting our clothes done. Men, don’t leave your ladies there alone.

The rooms are big and clean, the shower water gets hot, and housekeeping does a good job. It’s handy to whatever you need in New Albany. It’s no Hilton, but for my contract work it’s been the best value I’ve found. I’d give it 4 and a half stars. A working ice machine would make it five.
