Holiday Inn Express and Suites Union Gap- Yakima Area by IHG

Check-in was quick and easy, and the clean, quiet room made for a comfortable stay. The location felt safe and was close to the highway, but far enough away that I didn’t hear traffic. Breakfast was quite good, with a nice range of choices. I’d recommend it for a pleasant, hassle-free stay.

I’ve stayed here quite a bit for over seven years, and the location is great. The place is always spotless and smells fresh, and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is hot and fresh, and the pancake machine has never let me down. Some staff have been here for years, too. Kudos to the manager for making this a good place for the team as well as regular guests. Thank you.

There’s an active railroad very close by, and trains went past all night. The nearby crossing meant the horns were easy to hear. The hotel is in an industrial area, so be aware of that. Still, the exterior and interior were clean, the parking lot was well lit, and breakfast was good with plenty of tables. The housekeeping needs work: I found long strands of hair on the bathroom floor and a woman’s swimsuit hanging from the shower curtain rod over the tub. At checkout, the clerk didn’t ask how my stay was, which most hotels do.

The kids had a great time, especially in the pool and hot tub, and they also played games on the computers. The adults liked the seating area. Our rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, and breakfast was hot, delicious, and kept stocked. Shout out to Payton. There was a small staff mistake, but they were willing to make it right. The place feels tucked away, quiet, and safe. We’d recommend it 10 out of 10 for visiting family, business, or passing through.
